Our annual Zoo Snooze was once again a tremendous success. Amanda our zoo snooze coordinator did an amazing job and our group enjoyed getting up close and personal with the hedge hog, chinchilla and and brazillian armadillo. Following the educational program our group spent a little time in the new zoo children's play area and once it was dark took a night hike around the zoo. Late night snacks and a movie were enjoyed before bedtime. Following breakfast the group took a morning walk around the zoo. The weather was great and I am pretty sure everyone had a wonderful time. I for one am already looking forward to next year. If you've never attended a zoo snooze you'd better add it to your bucket list - it really is an fun adventure.

It's beginning to look alot like May. Things at First Christian Stillwater are BUSY BUSY BUSY. I LOVE this time of year and I CAN'T WAIT for summer.

This Friday is the annual Zoo Snooze. We will meet at the church at 5:00 - bring a sack lunch or a fast food meal and we will eat along the way. Also bring along a sleeping bag, toothbrush and pj's. Snacks and breakfast will be provided. Our zoo snooze program will begin at 7:00, following the program we will take a night hike around the zoo and will end the evening with a snack and a movie. Our group will wake bright and early for a morning walk around the zoo before it opens to the public. We will load the vans and return to Stillwater around 10:30am Saturday morning. Families wanting to stay and enjoy extra zoo time may do so provided you have transportation. YEA!!!! It's time to enjoy some quality time with our friends, family and the ANIMALS AT THE ZOO!!!!

A couple of schedule changes - CYF mission trip participants will be meeting Sunday evenings at 5:00 for mission camp planning and preparation. We will HOWEVER, not meet this week because of Mother's Day - enjoy some quality time with MOM :)

Sondra will be at the Middle School on Wedsnesday and the Junior High on Thursday - after school. We will go someone for ice cream or a pop. Join us for some afternoon fellowship. I will take you home afterwards.
