Camp/Mission Trip deadlines approaching

It's winter and most of us are longing for spring break. Thoughts of summer are a long way off HOWEVER....it's time to make deposits for summer camp.

6th-7th grade youth will have the opportunity to attend Camp WOW, May 31-June 4th. Cost is $150.00 for those who have worked football or basketball parking. That fee is all inclusive - transportation, lodging, meals and snacks to and from camp, all camp programming and camp t-shirt). Camp activities include waterfront, obstacle course, group games and challenges and more. $75.00 deposits are due Feb. 1st. Balance is due May 1st. Children 7-12 will have the opportunity to attend Dry Gulch, July 11-15. Cost is $150 per person for those who have worked football or basetball parking. $50 deposits are due Feb. 1st. An informational meeting will be held Jan. 31st immediately following the Contemporary Service. You can check out the Dry Gulch website at www.drygulchusa.com

CYF Youth are sponsoring "There's No Place Like Home" Mission Camp 2010. The camp has been approved as a regional event and will be attended by Disciples youth throughout Oklahoma. (A group from Texas has also inquired about camp and is hoping to bring a youth group). Mission Camp will be held July 26-30, details can be found on the website www.fccelreno.org/mission. We will celebrate the close of mission camp with a group vacation to Walt Disney World, Orlando Florida July 31-Aug. 4th. Cost is $300.00 for those who worked football/basketball parking and includes mission camp (lodging, food, project materials, camp programming, and tshirt); airfare, vacation lodging, transportation, park admission and some food. Youth are scheduled for another pie making event on Sunday, Feb. 28th proceeds will go to purchase meals tickets at Disney World. Deposits are $75 and are due Feb. 1st. Balance is due June 1st.
